About Embraced Orthodontics

Dr. Young grew up in the small town of Farmington, NM. In High school, Dr. Young was active in swimming, football, soccer, track and field, baseball, and student senate. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, riding his dirt bike, wakeboarding in the summer time, and skiing in the winter time.

After High School, Dr. Young served a two year Mission for his church in Los Angeles, California. In the mission he was fortunate to learn and become fluent speaking the Spanish language.


Following his mission Dr. Young accomplished his undergraduate studies in biology at Arizona State University. Thereafter, he obtained his doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Continuing his post-doctorate education, he specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at University of Colorado Health Science Center.


Dr. Young is affiliated with several professional associations, among them the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. In addition, he is a board certified Orthodontist with the American board of Orthodontics.


Dr. Young loves Arizona. He enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Alyson. Together they enjoy creating memories with friends and family, going to the movies, cooking, traveling, and all kinds of water sports. At last, he loves Orthodontics, beautiful smiles, and the good people that come into his office.
